Oasis mission drill disappeared after breaking the first wall

I'm doing oasis mission on Styx, placed the drill, run back to the home, grabbed biofuel, supplied drill with biofuel, killed worms, then was some kind of an explosion, the entrance to the cave showed, but the drill disappeared, so i can't drill the second wall. Pressed escape, called resupply, but dropship delivered 3 scanners, but not a drill. What am i supposed to do now ? I examined the whole area near the entrance - no signs of the drill, and it's not in the inventory, before the explosion i had empty slots in the inventory. Or every missions are so bugged ?

0.1) Missions like to glitch (although for some reason this has never happened to me). Drill should be where you inserted it into the wall, after the explosion it should fall down.
0.2) If it is not there, then you can try to make a rollback, first save the progress.

1) Save your Icarus progress to a separate folder on another partition of the drive (or flash drive). (disable Steam clouds, otherwise, when you manually return your saves, there is a chance that Steam cloud will return the original saves).

You can do a 'full rollback' with this.

2) You can try to ‘roll back’ the save via a backup file, which is done every half hour or when you exit to the ‘character selection’ menu; until that moment everything was fine.
Mission names usually consist of a set of letters and numbers. You can determine which save was from your mission by the fact that these *.json files will have to have the latest creation date.

Thank you for the advice ! Fortunatly, i always keep manual backups for such games (single save Valheim-like), so restored 30-min save, completed all the chain of events and finally found drill on the ground pretty far from the entrance after the explosion.
