Deep Vein Extraction (permanent unlock?)

Does that Mission still the permanent unlock that the wiki states:
"Completion Allows Pickaxe Mineable Exotics to Appear on All Missions"
or is that outdated?
I've noticed that some missions have a golden border with permanent unlocks (which are listed with a mouseover), looked it up and noticed that some people mentioned Deep Vein Extraction giving you a permanent unlock, despite its mission icon not stating anything about permanent unlocks.

This is no longer a requirement to unlock exotics in either voxel or deposit form. Those missions still sort of counts as tutorials for gathering exotics but that's it. My guide on the topic is a little more detailed than the mission if you're curious: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3121617137 The only mission unlocks are for creature specific gear like cave worm arrows, or scorpion armor. Those missions are labeled like you said with the yellow border.

Some missions are not labeled as unlocks but do open up map shortcuts. They are chained along in order on the mission screen in such a way that the missions in the area behind that shortcut are after the mission that unlocks the shortcut.
