electric doesnt work half the time
so the title. okay i have all my electric devices in my base. it will be working fine one hour then the next hour. only some devices turn on. while others say electric is off. but when you try to power the device on. it just turns on then off again. before you say check power out put. i have 6 battery banks. 4 solar panels and 4 windmills. the banks have all power stored to full. so i have enough power. it just all things electric work when they want too. is there a fix for this or are the developers gonna overhaul the electrical system at some point

try disconnecting the device with the electric tool and reconnecting it while you still have power output.... usually fixes any problems i have

In my experience power won't work properly if powerlines are all messed up or looped . Try disconnecting everything, remove all wires and then make one single line going through the base that will then connect like branches to any structures. Also make sure that all power sources are connected to main line BEFORE any device that would drain said power.

It is even worse for the farming things first it must have water then connect all of them then they need power too so it is tons of cables there lol it is insane each one need they own connection!
One small tip. When dragging out electric or water hoses, do NOT stretch them out the maximum possible length.

I used to run into problems with both electric and water, until I started moving them back a hair after I reached the max. A lot of problems just stopped instantly. When lines and hoses are stretch as far as they will reach, it seems to cause issues when they're rendered, and the line/hoses don't connect anymore.

I had this problem.

The solution is you need to distribute your power connections from a hub.

Connect a line to each power source and then terminate the line near the power source and this creates a hub.

Connect your devices to those hubs, connecting the hubs together if you have many power sources.

Start the connection from the device and then connect it to your hubs.

Since I did this I have no more problems with power.
