Completed missions vanished

Had all missions on olympus / styx completed to have everything unlocked from those 2 maps, took a hiatus from game , came back on a new computer to have all of my workshop items i had unlocked gone, all the missions set to nothing completed. went to old computer to check it out and no missions completed there any more either. not a happy camper about that.

How long were you gone? If it was too long they went away from the central server to having your save data on your own PC. If you didn't grab a copy of your data during that window it's all gone.

If it's more recent than that and you have the Steam Cloud on the saves should be in there but the cloud is pretty spotty really.

Still have access to your old PC? Your saves are located here:

C:\Users\[WindowsUserName]\AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData\

So you can copy that from one PC to the other to get all your progress back.

i know where saves are, i said in op that i checked old computer too, it was after the server migration to personal server. the cloud save only has my character and nothing else, hell even my open worlds where missing things.

Sorry to hear that, but there a lot of ways to edit the save files to give yourself back items or just the currency to buy them again (which is actually easier).

I've seen threads where people edited the saves to flip the flags for mission completion. A lot of people reported issues with it not working, but I chalked that up to people who messed up the .json formatting because they didn't understand all the brackets and commas mean something. If you understand .json and you're careful, it's not hard to edit.

i've seen the posts about flipping the flags for misisons but i am one of those who had messed the brackets up or something cus i cant get the mission part to work, i gave myself the credits and exotics to get the workshop at least but still leaves me short of missions completed for those items and access to the bonuses

every time i have attempted to add the olympus and styx missions to my jason it just wipes the character of everything else instead.
