Electric water purifier

Anybody know how to fix an issue with electric water purifier (and probably some other water devices) - it is connected to water pump and to solar panel correctly, but it does not fill my water containers. It worked fine ~2 patches ago.
And to confirm - I am not using any mods, and I have even never installed mods fot this game.

Have you tried removing and reconnecting water lines? Sometimes they break. If you hover over a line segment and press default "R" - you should see a window displaying the 'network' view of what is connected to that line segment.

Yes, I tried replacing wires, tried to replace water putifier and even tried to craft another one nearby - non of that worked.

Interesting moment that if I remove my water canteen from purifier inventory and launch it - it works - I see it on the left side of device inventory, but once I put my canteen to fill it - device automatically turns off and can't be turned off until I remove that canteen.

Every once in a while, you need to pick up the whole machine, and then put it back down. And run fresh connections to the machine.

A canteen fills very quickly with the electric version. Have you dumped contents ... even try to dump contents if it looks empty, in case the problem is with a false indication that it's full

Is problem the same with the previous tier water purifier? (which does not use electricity.)

I'm having a similar issue as the OP. I've tried every suggestion above but nothing has worked.

When I put my empty Shengong "Hulu" Canteen, it get filled half way and the machine turns off. I have tried removing it, turn the machine back on and put the canteen back in but it does nothing. I looks like it thinks the canteen is full even though the blue circle only shows half way.

What william said. The water machine is buggy.
