Need some red exotics

Yes.

Go into the lava biomes on prometheus.

tech up to tier 4, find the mutated tree with exotics inside, build that harvester thing, harvest, stick it into refinary, refine into red exotics, send up to orbit.

Not much different from regular exotics node mining, just extra step of refining it in a machine.

Quite a bit of electronic parts required, but luckily, prometheus caves, especially the tunnels between swamp and lava biomes, are super-huge and you only need to set up your house next to one cave, you wont ever need to find another cave.

You hunt red exotics on Prometheus the same way you hunt to extract the regular exotics. Once you find them there are a few different steps but it's generally the same.

I am fairly certain they are not asking _how_ to get red exotics, they're asking someone to invite them to a game where the other person will do all the work for free.

I personally have zero desire to do that. Red exotics take forever to process. I usually do it while watching a movie. It's just too much time commitment to help random people with. It's like watching paint dry.

You may also find Strange Plants (red) in the swamp biomes of Prometheus. Harvest (by hand) and you will likely get some seeds too that you can plant.
You will need the Organic Residue Cleaner as well.

I fnd seeds the fastest way to get large quantities by farming the seeds. But I would guess by the Word "unlock" they just want to get 1 to make it ahow up on their character file so they can then modify it.
