Heated canteen. (Red exotics one)

How does this item work? I filled it with water and it's says it contains cool water not hot. Is it buged? Or am I doing something wrong? Or should I fill it with hot liquid? (But then what is the point since you can do this with other canteens too?)

I think it's bugged. I have that canteen, and I've never seen that warming buff added.

I just read that it works with the kitchen sink. But not with the water purifier . It bugs in there.
