Seeds?

Did I miss something? I have a character I started in the Conifer Woodland and abandoned. I remember when I harvested fiber I also got seeds. That character--only a low level when I abandoned him--had over 100 seeds. I just started a new character and have not harvested any seeds at all. Has the seed dynamic changed?

It has changed significantly. I think it’s fair to say it has not been universally popular, although some people like it. I’m pretty indifferent. I prefer the old way, but about the only thing it really changed for me significantly is I don’t mass produce the berry bars at the beginning the way I used to.

It is possible to harvest seeds with a sickle, but you need either the fairly expensive workshop sickle designed to do that or the alteration bench with the thresher attachment on a crafted sickle.

The seed fabricators are cheap to make and frankly make a good early game storage before you’re able to craft cupboards.

Totally agree. The inability to craft ANY berry bars in early game is maddening. Now I try not to pick berries at all. What's the point?
