Then everyone who re-joins, joins in their hosting session.
The only problem is that if the host logs out, the game does not (currently?) transfer hosting to someone else. So when the current host logs out, everyone gets kicked out. But someone else can then immediately re-open the prospect and everyone re-join.
Once you are part of the prospect, you can log in and play (and become the host).
Not sure how inviting folks offline works... we were always all online at the start. (or joined the host soon after).
But it's not available during the betas. They can't get the data they need from us if we are offline. :)
Think the outposts are separate from that. (hope so !)
When you first start a new prospect you become the host. Your friends can join you at any time while you are online. If you log off while you are the host all other players will be disconnected from the game. If you are offline, a friend can rejoin the prospect and they will become the host for that session.
