Cabinets, + Inventory Attachment

How do the + inventory slots in cabinets and other storage systems work? I see an Inventory Attachment to add +x slots but i have not discovered how to create or apply them , any guidance, reference or assistance is appreciated.

Once you have the talent you simple build a storage item. The new item will have a buff applied to it that gives it the extra storage slots.

Yes, that means you'll have to remake all the ones you made previously. If you pick them up and destroy them you get half the materials back.

Thank you, I do see that my new storage device have the Alteration applied and my older ones do not, now i understand the issue.
