Water Connection for Cement Mixer?

After new update I can no longer use the cement mixer without a water connection. Tried to put my water canteen in there but that didnt work. Looks like the water pump is on tier 4 but you need 20 cement mix..... game just became unplayable. I think the developers forgot to upload something but also should have come with directions with this new set up. Anyone else stuck now?

Lies. A water connection speeds up the process but it is NOT REQUIRED.

Then THIS must be the only portable concrete mixer to use piped water because in real life it doesn't apply. I'm mixing concrete now and the time is drastically slower than before. 80 concrete takes over a bloody hour and I need a heck of a lot more than that. The OP is correct in the game has become unplayable because of time limits on certain missions not on the "I can't use it bit now".

I see now that a water connection in not needed even though it says connection required. SO I did some research on what is now required to get to the water pump, water hose, and sprinkler. 50 seconds per concrete mix. Water hose needs items that have to be crafted at the Concrete Furnace - 20 mix

Water Pump - 20 mix
Fabricator - 20 mix

Basically an hours worth of concrete processing to get here

THEN if you want a sprinkler you need 12 composites, now you need the
Materials Processor but to process you need the electric furnace at 80 concrete mix.
So its over an hour just for the concrete mix to make a sprinkler head. Other items to process along with it. At this point isn't it just easier to make a concrete house and not need a sprinkler? This should be tier 3 max, not tier 4 stuff. I adore this game but I'm not excited about this update anymore.

I always find plenty to do when Items are crafting so (Likes to keep busy) long waits are never noticed unless I forgot some planing steps.

Perhaps a tier 3 option would be handy, a weaker water unit that requires another source of energy, perhaps a boiling unit? That collects water, heats it using wood or coal for instance, that then lets the steam condense in the pipes to function as a makeshift network. Obviously with significantly less water output of course.

That or you can just double up. I have already started working two concrete mixers to compensate for the time extension. In all fairness making concrete is NOT a fast process IRL.

Learn to read, water is not REQUIRED for cement. As for the grind, would you like to have a big "I WIN" button that you can push and everything magically happens so you can feel like a hero with no effort? Seriously the devs have watered the game down too much for the whiny carebears already..

I dont know what your games says but mine says WATER IS REQUIRED to produce the mix, even tho thats a lie, the generators says requires fuel to make electricity but I cant run something without fuel with the generator so why say WATER IS REQUIRED ???? We can read thats why this ♥♥♥♥ is so confusing

I am not wrong if something says it requires it, It is required, dont be mad at us because the creators have made an error by saying it is required.

I guess if my missions says its required to scan an area I dont really have to scan it because its just an oversight and not necessary and I can leave the area and mission will be complete.

This is a discussion forum for people to voice their opinions. I got confused for a second due to poor labeling by the developers. Thankfully I said something so someone could help me figure out what to do. I also voiced that I thought something was too much grind for 1 item. But there's always someone who jumps in to say "stop whining". Then whats the point of having a discussion forum if you cant ask questions or voice anything. Positive only feedback? How would they improve it then? Most changes are made because people "whined"
