Crop plot changes

So for the most part I like it. No weird UI and moving things around. However I do not like that the talents no longer alter the plots themselves. I play this game with a buddy and we split up who takes what as far as building based point use. With altered plots is meant one guy spends the points and then whomever was at base could flip the crops. Now the crop plot guy has to be the dedicated farmer.

Not some huge evil but an unfortunate consequence of the new plots.

This is also contrasts with other skills that apply to build things.

Smelting speed applies to all crafted smelters.
Fuel efficiency skill to applies to all crafted campfires.
Storage space skill applies to all crafted storage.
Tool bonuses are applied to all crafted tools.

The farm plots alone are being left out of this crafting bonus now.

I agree, play with a few mates in open world and only one of us went the plot talents but we were all enjoying farming, now it seems like the interaction is reduced. However overall the rest of the changes are great like you said.

One more issue though is gaining all the seeds again.

Any idea how to get strawberry and avocado seeds as all the board missions ive done only offer the fruit as a reward?

My biggest concern is what do we do with fertilizer and the specialized variant? Although, I am going to enjoy putting all of my spoiled plants into explosive munitions instead of having to split between one or the other.

i use all my fertilizer for gp and make 100s of explosive rounds for the geyser mission if you make like 5-10 of the water wheels for electric and make the fertilizer thing you get almost unlimited gp if you need more gp run around with a sickle and grab a bunch of berries and throw in there i think i had like 500-600 explo 55.6 in no time also the eplo shotty bullets are no joke either

The farming related buffs are still gained, if you had plants prior the update you'll need to remove them and replant them with seeds.

Although I'm sad that there are still no tree seedlings

So even though i have the talents of Crops do not wither, my crops are still dying after they have finished growing, so whats the point of the talent ?

Those are probably seeded from your original plants from before the patch. You need to pull out the plant and plant new seed.

Nope, Ive asked in a few places and no luck yet, just been making things with what we can grow for now!

getting the seeds from the plant is RNG.

Make sure you are using the sickle when you harvest the plants to maximize your chance of getting seeds.
