why i get pneumonia in my oxygen suit?

haha, how do Earth like animals breath on another planet?? This game doesn't make sense but it works I guess. Now ask yourself this. Why do you need stone tools if you come from space and able to fly back up anytime you want. Why not bring your own super future tools.

I can’t answer on pneumonia but in the lore the animals were bioengineered to be able to deal with the toxins in the atmosphere which makes it unsafe for us to breathe

And it is not unrealistic to expect people starting on a new planet to use in situ resources and tools. Just because we have super high tech gizmos doesn’t mean when you go to a new planet that they will still work or that you will have means to repair them. So it actually makes sense to say “make use of what is around you”

Your oxygen system is using Oxite the best it can; however, other trace elements are necessary to get “breathable” oxygen. Hence, the suit uses some environmental atmosphere.

i dont mind if the game gives me a way to avoid pneumonia or give me some time to run away before i get it, but giving to me just coz i enter a cave its a bit too much, and since i already farm my oxygen i think is fair enough to let me enter a cave as long i need to,,

I like how your immune system doesn’t give you any type of immunity to pneumonia for a period of time. You can get it and then immediately get it again like our bodies have regressed to that of infants .

Icarus is a good and silly game. They really didn't think the lore through. It's really silly. Let's be real here. You're going on a planet back and forth, not once would you think to bring high tech gear with you? I think the lore is stupid and doesn't make sense. Remove Oxite and the two devices that creates oxygen. If the air is toxic and the animals can breath it, the toxic chemical is in the animals that we eat. I still think the concept of the lore is stupid. Remove the oxite.
