Workshop Item nothing for Open World

yes you can. Buy a repair pack in the shop and make a repair bench. Its a tier 3 thing. Then you can use your repair kit in th usual way buy concume it and you have 5 repair items to use in the repair bench.

Well you still have to do a mission to get the cash to buy the repair kits but yes

just take them back to the station and repair them for 10 Ren right click the item to repair it cheaper than repair kits.

Repair items are definitely in the game and I have repaired workshop items.

To repair a workshop item you will need.
1. Repair workbench (T3 constructed)
2. You must drop with a workshop repair kit (Purchased for 40 exotics from the workshop)
3. You must have POWER, in the repair workbench, it will not repair them without power.
4. Open the repair kit pack (Select consume) this will give you 5... let's go with epoxy pastes, to repair workshop items.
5. Repair item at bench
leftover repair items will not return with you to orbit.

Gonna have to call you on your BS cuz you can't unlock the Repair Bench in the Tech menu because it LITERALLY says "Coming Soon"

Maybe you need to research the repair kit in the workshop because its unlocked for me.

Idk what beta branch you're on, no new ones that I know of, or what mod you may be using, but in the Tech Tree it does not allow you to put a tech point into the Repair Bench, it just says "Coming Soon". I already have Repair Kits from the Workshop, but since the update that makes it so you MUST use the Repair Bench to repair Workshop items, you CANNOT use Repair Kits on Workshop items. I've tried every bench available to repair my items, and like I said the Repair Bench itself isn't available yet, so idk what we're supposed to do with broken workshop items, aside from the previous suggestion of literally loading up your dropship, leaving, repairing, and returning, which sounds like a lot of effort for something that should just allow us to repair with repair kits in the Fabricator at the very least.

ApexAlphaGaming... have you been on one open world since before the update?

It's possible that the bench option isn't showing up because of that.

If so, a return to the station and dropping back in might fix it.

Or, return to station, drop into any new playfield (like the very first Olympus mission) and see if you can learn it there, and then return to your open world and see what happens?

I thought I saw in patch notes somewhere that skill trees may not update on existing open missions/worlds (but I could be mis-remembering).

No I've made a brand new Open World just today.
I'll try the "play a mission" idea and see if while on a mission it unlocks the tech, but otherwise I can't see how this will help if the Repair Bench literally says "Coming Soon"

That it is saying this for you, and not for other people implies a bug of some sort impacting you. :(

there is a tier 3 repair bench that you can use to repair buyed items from the shop. You also need to buy the repair kits to do so.

@apexalphagaming in the tech tree tab if u look towards the top right corner while u are in the tech tree tab there should be a button called refresh talents,,try clicking that,,cause some of my tech was locked till i clicked on it..i had same problem with the repair bench being locked,,it seems on chars that was made before lastest patch,had some tech that blocked till u click on that button to reset the tree...

Already did that, no files missing. Already restarted, reinstalled, redid Data Migration. Nothing has unlocked the Repair Bench, it still says "Coming Soon" and you can't put Tech Points into it.
