Where is squash in desert?

Just spent a maddening amount of time looking for it in the forest to find out it was moved...So where the hell is it in the desert?? Been looking for 10 mins now

I Guess it might be worth mentioning, this run was started before the update. Dunno if that would affect anything spawning

Edit: So I tried going into the desert and both ways I could get to it are not very explorable. I get the outside of play area thing. There were no squash in what I could go into either. Im confused and getting pretty pissed at this point. So HOW the ♥♥♥♥ do i complete my mission?? Im doing some agriculture stockpile thing, It honestly not hard. But again, how am I suppose to do this without one of the asking objectives, squash? Its not in the forest anymore according to the latest update. Ive looked for hours and have even been using resource maps like the one linked below. There are none in zero of those spots. I know exactly what they look like as well. I have been looking EXTREMELY carefully. So have the devs just made changes and not realized it would break missions, making them unbeatable???

There are 12 squash found in clumps of 2-4 plants in the grassy areas right on the water of the lake in K7/K8. I also found at least 2 clumps of 3 at the lake M4. The lake looks like a boot... 3 were just under the toe and another clump of 3 were on the top left part of the boot

According some other posts here in the forums, you don't need the squash for the pod. If you fill the other quantities, the pod will take off and complete that objective.

Squash is there, even if it is not for the mission anymore. It still is hard as hell to find most of the time though. I've only ever found it around the larger oases in the clumps of plants.

Yeah, it's hard to see. It's usually covered by low ground bushes. You need to clear that stuff first to even see it.
