Building Grid
Is there a way to turn off the building grid or snap points? Being able to turn the angled wall upside down would really help.

With "R"(short press, long press = switch part variant) you can reverse angle up down.
"End" disables/resets grid lock to existing structures, but not fully unlocks.
Other than that, you can only try move cursor around until it does what you want.
(sometimes it needs a lot, sometime one pixel...)

If you want to build at slightly different height level, it often helps to start at a place with different elevation, then snap a 2nd part to it, but don't build, and carry it to location where you actually want to build.

you can break away from the grid if it's already established. i'm pretty sure it shows up on the ui when you're in the placing ui. but some things probably wont snap together, like say if you wanted to make a small shed next to your base, you could turn off the grid to build something, and then snap to that piece. but attatching them later might not be viable.

for angled things some things have to be researched. and last time i tried some angled pieces weren't in the game for some building types.

PRESS the key [END] and snapping is disabled!

That didn't really work for me.

Thanks, I'll try this out.
