How do I unlock the Fish Trap

I have a farming mission and I'm supposed to catch and cook 600 fish. Thought I saw the fish trap in the skill tree. But it says "coming soon" and I can't activate it. What do I have to do or which talent do I have to unlock?

Shoot fish with bow, crossbow, or rifle... or get in the water and beat on them with hands or tools. They die. You pick up. You cook.

Thank you, I realize that I can do all of this and that I do some of it that way, but it doesn't answer my question of how to unlock the fish trap..

I think it still says "work in progress" in tech tree. Which means it's not in game yet.

Don't forget this game is in early access, some features are not available for the moment.

Just let some time to the dev to finish the game before the release :)

What map is this on? And which area of it? In the new styxx map I found a spot that is very small in a cave and has fish that spawn stupid fast. you could get your 600 fish there really fast. Wouldnt even need a bow or gun just stand and stab there are so many.

Can we get fishing already, and the poles. And a rebalance of t4. Keep adding new mechanics to the game though. -.-

That's not correct. The game is not in early access. It is a full release game.

the fish trap is not in the game yet, shooting fish with the bow or using a knife is an effective means of gathering them. in some of the mega caves with water inside them (such as the one in the west of the Riverlands) you can farm fish really fast because of the small pond size and infinitely re-spawning fish.
