Null Sector

After enter the null sector, i closed the game. Now I wanted to continue playing, but unfortunately I appeared in the lava and couldn't get out. After pressing “free”, I was on land, but the game thought I was still in the lava. now I can't play any more, because if I die, I'll never get back there without all my equipment.
Any ideas what I can do?

Die, and make a new set of basic equipment to get out there and recover your stuff. That's just how the gameplay loop goes. I've had to do that with the desert biome on Styx a couple times.

The problem is, that my item would stay in the lava when i die. So i lose all my inventory. The next problem is, can this happen again? Really disappointing

Couple things to try:

Die and go back to get your equipment. When you get close if the equipment is unreachable, hit ESC and there's a retrieve equipment option next to the Stuck option. That should grab all your gear for you from range.

The other option is to load a backup save from before you were stuck. The game makes auto-save backups ever 30 minutes and usually keeps around 10 of them so you can go back as far as 5 hours.

As to how it happened in the first place and if it'll happen again... How far from where you logged out did you appear when you logged back in? It's very unusual for that to happen, do you have any mods installed?

Where i can found this backup saves? And how i can load this?
