Lots of people are claiming this mission is bugged & it's not working after building a tower 6 stories tall, well I'm here to tell you that you're all full of ♥♥♥♥ & didn't try hard enough before whining about it being bugged.

This is the monstrosity my buddy & I built getting up to 10 stories tall & on the 10th story, the beacon placement completed objective Zulu. We replicated the process for beacon Alpha & the mission completed successfully after placing it within line of sight of Zulu.

Just keep building up to the correct altitude & place the beacon where the Alpha & Zulu markers are on the map, it really is just that simple.

So stop saying it's a broken mission because it clearly works. It works just fine with wood, but I would imagine a more advanced structure like concrete would have an easier time with structural stability.

Can they be placed on the canyon edges? I'm not sure playing solo that I can build all of that at level 25.

Not canyon walls, it has to be placed on the marker built upwards with structures.

You can build wood very early, all you'd really need are pillars, ramps and floors

can confirm 10 levels is where you need to be. take real good care on the position of your build. i had to place a wider platform and try a few spots to find the one that works.
don't need to get to fancy either. 4 stone pillars straight up with thatching ramps winding up around it worked good. be sure to run your grid over from one tower to the other to ensure the same height

Literally all you have to do is stack 10 stone foundations on each other, then like 10 ladders to climb up. People make all these complicated structures for this mission lmao.

It's not unreasonable to think that the mission is bugged when the description says you need to establish 3 survey locations and then it only gives you 2 beacons to put at locations and then gives no indicator about how high you need to make it or acknowledgment that you're in the right spot. EZ solution you just put a voice line in the game telling you that you need to go higher or something as most players are not going to go more than 5-6 layers before getting irritated that they don't know if it's a 7 story structure or a 30 story structure they have to build. If they at least said 100 meters tall or something you could make a guess at how many stories you thought it might be.

Maybe they updated the mission since you last did it, because I just did the mission an hour ago and it showed these little blue bubbles of exactly where they wanted the devices deployed.

lol I did say it was a monstrosity. Without progressing to stone, try constructing a tower with enough structural integrity to make it passed 6 stories, its difficult but can be done. We were just experimenting with what actually adds to the stability & allows building higher with wood
