Rebalance Polar Bears!!!

I have a party of three (all level 25) and there is no way to kill a polar bear with fur armor, flint arrows, long bows and steel spears/knives. Been killed 5 times now by the same bear in the same place. Please rebalance the polar bear to not make me stop playing this game which is what the three of us are doing until a fix is peoformed.

Its how you fight them, my friend and I spec'd into bows can dual kill them. Plus they charge like brown bears and when they get close on charge just side step and they go by you and then shoot, rinse and repeat if they get close. If you can snipe them down in the face before they get close even better. Given we both have the talents to %pin shot and slow shot.

Use a Ghillie Suit and Throw a Spear at them, Carbon is best but basically can one shot them.

Just make sure you got a ton of meat to offset frostbite if you get it.

Mkay, you are going to get a lot of "git gud" comments from the leet brigade, but honestly you don't have to fight the polar bears, just stealth around them. There is no reason to bang your head against a wall...

My group usually has someone on point a distance away (100m+), and if they get aggroed, we stay back and stealthed so that we can survive and revive our teammate.

Even if you have eyes all around your head, you will eventually fall victim to a spawning polar bear in your face with no way to avoid it. At least by spreading out, you ensure that some the group survives to revive the rest.

I think you guys might have to change how you approach the polar bears. I play solo and manage the polar bears relatively well on my own but I use firearms. If the 3 of you outfitted yourselves with a hunting rifle then you should manage. Remember that sneak attacks and headshots are a matter of life and death. Be cautious and take them out from afar. If you let it get close then you will most likely die unless you're good at side stepping out of its attack. Polar bears have over 2000HP I think, probably close to 3000? But if the three of you land a headshot in succession or in unison then you should each do 1000 dmg each and kill it. Bring a shotgun just in case you miss some shots and gets too close.
IMO the only thing they need to change with the polar bears is the rate at which they respawn/spawn.

Also bringing a small shelter can help. If you see a polar bear you want to kill or can't sneak past, set up a shelter to provide some protection or you could use 5 rails and sort of lay them down like a wall to slow it down or stop it from getting to you.
