I suggest you go and try some other survival games and see if you really feel this should be crowned as the worst.

Yes, it needs some balance and polish, but given what they are trying to do here, I think they did a pretty good job.

Just sad probably one of the best survival games that got released recently gets deleted from Steam and under a possible lawsuit...

Yea i think its crap as well, decent graphics but thats about it. animal combat and path finding is laughable,quests suck go here do this return,storms every 3-5 minutes..would have made a better base building game had they went that path with it. while its great they are still working on the game daily patches are annoying when they take as long as these do to install,i just uninstalled the game will try it again in 6 months or a year and see if anything improved,this should have been labeled early access.

afraid there is no such thing as a game not in early access these days. But its fine I would rather have a game that is tuned on and added to over time then something I just devour and never look at again.

What I'm hearing from some of you is that you folks who didn't like the game (not limited to this thread) makes it clear that most didn't understand what this game is, how it's designed, and didn't comprehend the core gameplay loop. You're not happy with it and that's fine. I don't agree with some of the complaints but at least they're being expressed in a fairly reasonable way and I appreciate that. Too many people are being a bit extremely rude about it, but the OP here just expressed their opinion and didn't start attacking people. Thank you for that.

Some people have no idea how fast a bear can actually run. I made a full post about it on another thread. The short version is that most bears can run about as fast, or faster, than Usain Bolt's fastest sprinting speed. A prospector on Icarus has no chance to outrun a genetically modified, and slightly mutated bear on foot.

Brown bears can reach over 35 mph can climb a tree in seconds about your only hope is to play dead there aint no outrunning one on foot,there only weakness is running down a steep hill because of shorter front legs and they tend to avoid those hanging out mostly in valleys along water.

Me and son both a little over 30 have hunting rifle and shotgun polar bears drop easy and after you hunt them down andvlove up you get polar bear suit now we make thermos and coco along with some salad and flatbread and polar bear meat perks we walk threw it like its nothing. Key here is you have to prepare for the mission not leather gear and a bow lol you will not go far. Take your time enjoy the game it is a lot of fun.
