I feel like the stutter has gotten worse in the past few months. I didn't use to notice it, but now it's present all the time. I thought maybe it was because of all the thatch huts on the map from those "scan" missions, but I destroyed almost all of them with no change. Game is still playable, but it's really annoying.
How many objects does it show you have?
Posting this information, along with how complex your power/water distribution lines are, and your system specs would go a long way. Especially if you do it in the correct forum section.
For example, our save has...
1,193 Buildings
578 Deployables
22 Mounts
I have four systems I have run this on, and none of them have the issue y'all are having.
AMD R9 5950X on a custom overclock curve. Usually around 4.5-4.8GHz when gaming, though it can boost up to 5.2GHz.
64B DDR4 RAM at 3600Mhz
MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming Z Trio that is OC'ed a pinch over the factory OC.
OS is on an SSD, Game data on ultra-fast Gen 4 NVMe's in RAID-0.
AMD R9 3900X overclocked to 4.25GHz currently (I can run up to 4.4GHz, but some games have issues)
64B DDR4 RAM at 3600Mhz
MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio with factory OC.
OS is on an SSD, Game data on a separate SSD.
AMD R9 3900X overclocked to 4.0GHz
32B DDR4 RAM at 3200Mhz
MSI GTX 1070 8GB
OS and Game are on ultra-fast Gen 4 NVMe's in RAID-0.
AMD R5 5600X
32B DDR4 RAM at 3600Mhz
XFX Speedster SWFT309 AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
OS is on an SSD, Game data on a separate SSD.
Note that all systems are playing on a dedicated server that is hosted on the following hardware.
Intel i7-8400 overclocked at 3.8GHz on all cores
32B DDR4 RAM at 3200Mhz
MSI GTX 1060 6GB
OS and Game Server are on a single Gen 4 NVMe.
6 of the people i also play with regularly havent played for several months now due to this.
please optimize!

I spend hours troubleshooting any possible issue and was able to get the game running reasonable well and the stuttering minimised.
I build a few more things in my base and the stuttering is back.
I'm currently on Prometheus and have less then 400 buildables and less then 50 deployables...
AMD R5 7600x
AMD RX 7600
32gb Ram
Do you think maybe it's the hosting/dedicated server that's helping share the load and reduce the lag for your systems?
I know a streamer I follow got horrible lag when he was hosting, the group switched to a dedicated server and that really made the game run a lot smoother for him.
I don't have a dedicated server to run this on, many people probably wouldn't.
If you can test your four systems in SP and see if you get stutter...
I also read expanding the FOV to 110 or 120 helps a lot of people.
One thing I did notice though was that FPS was slightly better when connecting to the dedi when compared to the local client.
Average FPS with the local client across the systems was 60-70. When making the same rounds and tests on the dedi the average was 80-95FPS.
I could get better FPS by adjusting some of my settings, but I prefer the higher quality graphics and can live with not getting 120-160 FPS.
"Does AMD support ICARUS?"
It's^ no secret; You may find some interesting information to read...
I would love to see picket protest at "you know who" on TV...! :D
I just started a new prospect to check and the stuttering is minimal, but both my old prospects started getting bad around the time I was working on tier 3 tech.
