How can a greenhouse avoid the need for regular repairs?

Greenhouses can slowly get damaged when strong winds come. What are some ways to prevent this issue?

You using regular glass or reinforced glass? As I've had zero issue with the reinforced kind.

Reinforced glass is naturally immune to most tiers of wind storms. You need a water connection to the crafting bench in order to make it.

Every once in a while, I see tiny tiny tiny amounts of damage on a single pc of reinforced glass.

Build the greenhouse inside a larger concrete building or cave and use hydroponic grow lights works. You still get the green house bonus. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3114568064

Oddly, I have a greenhouse built inside a cave and I still get the "sunlight" bonus. The cave has NO weather effects inside, and every placed crafting station around the cave has the "sheltered" effect.

are you playing on the Styx map? if you are, there's really nothing you can do. Depending on where you are on that map, even concrete will take damage. The weather is nuts on that map.

Reinforced glass walls, maybe triangular end pieces if you want that look, aluminum roof, and the aluminum or concrete overhangs over all the edges (use half pieces). There's a few vids on youtube about it. Never had to repair anything due to any storm, although the stupid drop ship keeps damaging it when it gets too close.
