Icarus
Beyond tired of bees
Seriously. They can destroy concrete and stone walls? You should be able to permanently remove them with a flamethrower. Or have some other method of permanent removal

Simply find the hive and destroy it.

So it's in a cave that I've decided to make part of my base and they respawn. It's simple.

It's just a game...
Some points, in the map, have re-spawns...
Have you tried the "creature deterrents"...?

Do they work on bees?

I actually enjoy punching bees.

Yes, they respawn, endlessly. Every time I log in.

The cave I built my base in a long time ago on prometheus now has THREE bee hives in it. I can get one to stop respawning... most of the time. It does reappear occasionally. But the other two are continuously respawning. On the plus side, I have 3 iron cabinets entirely full of bee related products: wax, honeycomb, etc.

I eventually just gave up and moved to another cave (which is much larger, so it was a win win).

I cant remember, does the dehumidifier stop bees from respawning like it does for the worms?

So again, it's not end of story. The hive keeps respawning

Spear seems like best anti-bee device from my experience

I'm not asking how to kill them. I know how to kill them. I want the hive to stop respawning. I have to kill 3 swarms every time I walk in my cave

have you tried the creature deterrent? otherwise you are SoL and need to relocate to a cave that hasnt spawned any hives.
Spaceminnow Nov 28, 2024 @ 2:32pm
Maybe, in that session, the Icarus bees made a claim... :)
Maybe they^ like "Rock and Roll"...! :steamhappy:
Bees singing, "We're not gonna take it...!"

I love my imagination :)

The creature deterrent suggestion should work, as it stops spawning within its range. Alternatively, try placing a building piece on the spawn point.
