Repair Bench not working

I put down a repair bench. I connected 2000w of power to it. I have 10 Workshop Repair Kits in the unit. When I hit F it only shows Repair Armor and Repair all Equipment. It does not have Repair Workshop tab. When I hit Repair all equipment, it shows my workshop items in the unable to repair slot. I know I can send them up and fix them, but the repair kits cost Ren now not exotics. So it is the same price as repairing them at the station. I'm playing open world styx.

Can you just open up the repair bench, put the item in, and then right click -> repair on the items you want to repair? That's how repair works with all the other benches. I haven't put down a repair bench since the first few weeks Open World was released on Olympus over a year ago so I'm not an authority but that's how I remember it.

Ok so the repair bench is bugged I did try putting the items in the repair bench. I tried right clicking on them to repair. None of this works.

Have not played in awhile, but do you need to unpack the kits first. I know some items need to be unpacked in order to use.
