Old timer here. We still use Vent lol. Hopefully other will chime in.
We just want a dedicated Icarus game server with an easy to use GUI.
Depending on hosting company, ARK could be a real pain to setup level 300 dinos. Depending on GUI or editing INI files.
I will check both out. May I ask why the switch from Gportal to Havoc ?
Of those, Survival Servers and G-Portal are two of the worst providers you could possibly use.
Unless you enjoy getting undpowered hardware with extra latency caused by overloading the connections.
Nitrado used to be good, but a couple of years ago they forgot about customer service in favor of just shilling for money however they can.
Host Havox and GTX are good, and aren't even on this list. They would be among the top recommendations.
PingPerfect and Bluefang are good, but more premium companies. You get what you pay for though.
There are like a hundred other companies out there too. Shop around, read a bunch of reviews, and be sure to compare like-for-like options.
Thank You.
However it was an east coast server and we are all east coast. That may make a difference
