Can't say anything about the other game modes... but I don't think they do...
But I do know you have to do some Frank Herbert'ish things... (if you have read/watched Dune you will know what do to)... just walk without rhythm...
Hail Shai-Hulud... :-)
If they do allow it I hope they make it so if you leave the tree stump it grows back, it you eliminate the stump, it does not.
Certain tracks of land we need to clear for a reason, right?
it can be annoying when trees keep regrowing inside your buildings. I've seen that happen in other games.
I hope they don't do this, it makes no sense. Trees don't typically regrow from stumps haha
If you are placing floors on posts near the ground you will always get small trees (sticks and fibre), bushes and stones respawning, though still no tree regrowth It takes a long time for a tree to grow and they never will in this game. Using foundations instead will prevent all regrowth.
You need to go back to arborist school, maybe. The most commonly used trees for building (pine, oak, cedar, spruce, maple) are incredibly unlikely to regrow from a stump. Some trees will, like cottonwood or willow, but all of the trees in-game wouldn't. As an arborist, you should be able to tell the trees in-game apart, right?
