Icarus crashes when loading into open world?

Hi all, currently facing a bug where loading into my open world save causes my game to crash, ive played around 70+ hours with no issues besides some frame dips here and there.

Files were verified, settings are put to low just incase, i did a fresh install as well, and my drivers are up to date.

Any help?

not sure. seems like a problem. i have not had any problems with the game yet. but 70+ Hours one save sheesh more then me lol i just got into this lol

yeah doing a duo world with my brother! been having a great time being some Bog boys as we live deep in a swamp.

Have you tried loading into a different prospect? Try dropping into one of the training missions on Olympus which then you can just turn around and leave.

If you start up safely on the mission chances are your open world prospect is corrupted :(

1) A screenshot of the error or its text, preferably two.
1.1) PC Config, in what resolution you are running the game; DX11, DX12 etc.
1.2) Have you used mods before?
1.3) Are you running the game or Steam ‘as administrator’?
1.4) A detailed description of the pattern of crash occurrence is necessary, approximately how long it takes to occur, after what actions, etc.

2) To start DX11+Fullscreen
2.1) For starters, I recommend setting the OS swap file size to FIXED SIZE 32 GB (this means that when setting ‘Custom Size’ -> ‘Initial Size’ and ‘Maximum size’ must be same -> 32768). The paging file must be on the SSD (system partition C:). It is advisable to have at least 32 GB of physical RAM.
Here, the problems will not be in Icarus, but in Unreal 4, on which the game is built, the thing is that this game engine loves a lot of RAM and, oddly enough, large swap files.
If you are playing on DX12 and you are starting to crash or have another problem, then be sure to put a 32GB swap file. Or try switching to DX11 (considerably less memory consumption).
