Forcing Baby Steps to complete

I've seen the post about adding it to the accolades.json file, but I don't think I wrote it correctly. Can anyone type out what i need to add into the file to get the achievement to pop up?

The formatting won't really transfer over on the forum so you'll have to figure the formatting out yourself. Create whole new accolade -> accolade section by just copying one of the others there. Then change the RowName to this:

"RowName": "TutorialCompleted",

All the commas and punctuation need to be there.

I got it this time. And yes, just fully copy the whole section, including some other prospect and timestamp.

I'm, a returning player with 800h but last time I played it didn't have achivements. I delted my characters and started fresh but can't get baby steps to pop up after doing beachead recon twice.

Do you mind sharing what exactly did you put in that file to make it work? Thanks.

Accolades.json is the file you need to edit and it's located in your save folder. Copy it to another location as a backup just to be sure before you start to edit it:

C:\Users\[WindoesUserName]\AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData\[SteamID#]\Accolades.json

Copy one of the entire Accolade entries from accolade to accolade including all the proper punctuation formatting and paste it back in. For example I suggest copying from between the two C's in the word accolade to between the two C's in the next accolade word. Then click between the two C's on any of the accolade words in the list and pasting directly there. That will keep all the relevant formatting and spacing without having to struggle with exact placement.

Then change the word in the "Rowname" line from for example "WoodCollected250" to "TutorialCompleted" making sure again that the punctuation marks are still in proper place. Save the file and start up the game. From a previous users experience he found he had the achievement in game and "after a while" the Steam achievement popped up.

if I understood correctly I have to copy, paste a whole bracket, in the same file and make the change, but is there a place in the file is it at the top in the middle or at the bottom,

and what are the two C's For example, I suggest copying between the two C's in the word brace to between the two C's in the next reward word. Then click between the two C's on one of the curly brace words in the list and paste it right there.

No there is no specific placement for the new entry you're adding. Anywhere in the list works if you have the formatting correct.

That's it, I had a long trophy for an easy success, but it's the fault of the devs

FYI I use the built-in Firefox translator
