Imagine if they gave it the power to cut paths through the brush to create dirt paths...
Over time, while using the path, over and over, it will turn into a dirt path.
You know, like some of the cleared areas on the map that is just...dirt.
Speculation here, but this could indicate a fast travel or auto-travel network in the works. Auto-travel being something like mounting and letting your animal follow the trail beacon path for you.
Not painting the ground but maybe at least a good long distance travel option.
I want to be able to texture the ground so I can make a path to follow.
Plus, I like the idea of being able to follow a pathway between all the locations. There’s another game I have played that’s called Lightyear frontier.
In that game, they have a mechanic where you can drive around in your little mech suit and make trails. This is all we would need just some way to make a trail that doesn’t disappear overtime or, it starts to fade. You have to cut back down the trail.
