I thought it may be better to "destroy" plants to yield seeds.
I was thinking that too, like the composter but it yields seeds. Would make biofuel for sustainable.
I've tested this using 64 iron plots. By hand i get around 32-40 seeds. Using a titanium sickle i get around 36-44 seeds. It does look like a sickle helps, but not by much.
That is something I dislike, you quickly get bogged down with seeds, even farming becomes more tedious due to getting crops AND seeds from every plot.
I'd second a means of less seeds in general and being able to extract them at a bench like how fish get filleted.
It would also mean being able to easily make animal feed.
Yes I got a few seeds but lowlevel planters means they didnt last the storm
Agreed, buff the sickle to yield more crops & seeds. Give it a reason to even be made, I don't even use them and allow them to harvest more plants at once like a small area or at least 3-4 plants at a time. Maybe a tier 4 scythe to harvest a bigger area. The workshop knows they are useless and only offer 2.
