Thermos Obsolete?
I tried to make some Hot Cocoa and found that the thermos does not seem to count as a water container. It recognized my canteen but not the thermos. Is this intentional, an oversight or am I missing something?

Sounds like you have an issue. The thermos works like a canteen now. Fill it with water, then make coffee with it. Then it goes in the water slot just like a canteen so you can sip coffee while in a cold region.

Apparently I am impatient and it takes more than .024 seconds to make a hot beverage. It worked just fine when I left it in there for a bit and it started working. Who knew water didn't boil instantly?

Right! I'm not sure on the purpose of the thermos now as you can put coffee, tea, cocoa in even the water skin and get the benefit of it. This may be an oversight though.
