Electric Water Purifier Broken?
I built the electric water purifier, connected it to water and power and it says "Idle". I put a canteen in it and it turns off. I press the activate button and it turns on and then immediately off. I have ample supply in both my power and water network. What am I missing?

I tried using a half-full canteen and an empty one with the same results. Oddly enough the purifier description mentions it filling bottles. I tried to put a glass bottle in it but the device doesn't accept them! LoL

I made the lower tier purifier that uses charcoal and see the same behavior. I can turn it on but as soon as put a canteen into it, the device turns off. I can turn it on manually with a canteen in it and it immediately turns off again. <sigh>

I'm using a plain crafted canteen as my water vessel.

I had this issue with the electric smelter. Nothing worked ecept to remove the smelter and the cables and hoses to it. After i rebuild everything, it worked again.

Had the same issue - pipes and cables seem to have a snapping issue when you start at an already existing junction. I've redon everything building one main connection and only connect from the device to that main line. Seems to work for now.

We have the electric one and it works just fine with canteens.

I had to run a completely new pump/water line

Reconnect it, and it will work :)

The space in the low tier purifier is reserved for the charcoal. Hold the bottle in your hand and interact with the purifier to fill the bottle. It does have to run for a moment to get some water purified. At least, that's been my experience.

I don't know if this will help, but I found if you have multiple connections on one point , it may get buggy. I have 1 connection for all electric devices, no more than 2 on 1 line.
I try to plan the line before I place any device.

i had some instances my device didnt get power or water, constantly saying idle or shutting of.
for me the fix was , to conect power/and water liens in a certain way

i always look at if its in or out. devices that only use power i drag a cable from the winmill or whatever power device towards teh machine that needs power.

and devives that produce watr like water pumps i always start my cables at teh waterpump

i have the fgeeling that sometimes when you conect devices by power or waterlines the direction causes trouble.

i dont know how mutch of it its true, but since i do it i never had powerlos or water los or things standing on idle

i am not good at formulating what iw anted to say above, so excuse me for the mess
but i think most of you got teh idee what i ment

I can only get the plumbed in water purifier working if it's outside. That seems crazy. I'm sure I've seen people use it indoors.

Everything seems to work better going from an appliance to the network instead of going from network to appliance.
