dealing with bees in caves

whats the tip to handle the bees in caves? ive tried shooting em with arrows, stabbing, using a torch to wack them with since they hate smoke. has there been a way to deal with them?

A scythe has been working for me except that after killing 4 or 5 bee swarms, in a cave, i get disconnected - Network Failure, lost connection to host [P2P session error]. It disconnects everyone on the server. Bug?

jetzt wurde ich gerade in einer Hoehle getoetet, keine Ahnung was das war, jedenfalls kein Wurm
- wenn ich wegen sowas meine hart erarbeitete Ausrüstung verliere, war´s das für mich mit ICARUS - also echt!

bees chase me across the map and catch up EVERY time my stamina runs low, utterly unable to deal with them.

You can kill them with an axe, and shoot the nests with arrows

I figured out that my Terrenus mount can kill a swarm with 3 kicks. i haven't tried with other mounts yet.

Axe works, I have the platinum axe. One or two hits in the middle of the swarm works for me.
Bees won't follow you into the water

Take your knife. They are quick killed.

I also get disconnected after killing the bees. I use the horse method and the spear.

Knife works well, no worries. Don't forget to destroy the hive too.

totally agree !!! why do they not testing b4 release such an game-changer? and have to ask the players, if anybody want the killer-bees?

Doesn't it say that you need a "melee" weapon to kill the bees?
Everyone that has a problem with bees can you confirm that you actually tried to melee them down?
What armor are you wearing for comparison?
