Houdini Bears

I haven't had bears spawn in my game for many, many hours. I'm going up and down the map through the forest and marshland and not a bear to be seen. I'm killing heaps of creatures and leaving the bodies hoping to draw them but absolutely nothing. I'm trying to make the bear armor too
Is there anything I can do to entice them back?

Ah, interesting you mention the bears - I think I MIGHT have seen one, very early on in my game, but none since then. I may not have even seen the one I thought I saw. I'm still in the first zone though.

you have a bug i have way to many bears spawn in my game it's not fun. i can't even go and get ore with out being attack by two or more bears at the same time. i don't know what is going with this game now. no you can't to put them back in your game you might have to start a new game i know it sucks. all the time it takes to get that far just to have it glitch out i lost my world do to a glitch. and all they can tell me is we cant help you get anything back

Afaik bear spawns (biome aside) are random.

Sometimes it feels like I've always got one or more breathing down my neck with how they seem up show up at the worst possible time.

It's just luck of the draw.

You can follow the link to yours and at the bottom of each page there are pictures.

Thank you everybody for your responses. FINALLY last night I explored a new area and found one. It was chilling with an ostrich and a buffalo. Then as I went back home the same way I got to that spot I passed another 2 bears. Now with all the bodies laying around I will probably have a bear population explosion.

Thank you so much. After looking at that map I realise I was wrong when I said I had explored the 2 biomes. I havent even explored the first biome fully. WOW this map is HUGE.
