I also had such errors. You need to find the edge where there are 'washers' through which everything is connected and start delete them away from them in the direction of the 'connected' area.
So far, the bug in which it was impossible to remove the ‘washer’ is unknown (I am not considering options when mods are used).
The blue wire is the water supply, so you will need a ‘water’ tool.
It's the same to wire up the lights. Create a node near them and branch off of it. Now if you want to learn the secrets of making the wires look tidy... Well, I don't think I'm allowed to share it on a public forum.
The wires you can't remove should update and be removable after you leave the game and return. Super annoying but one of the coming updates they're hyping up is for battery storage which means a likely rework of some of the rest of the electrical stuff. Fingers crossed.
That makes sense. I tried the node. None of the appliances that connect to it actually get power. Going to try to leave the game and come back and see if that fixes it.
Edit: For prettying up the wires, putting the wires on the foundation and then covering them with the floor works really well on the first floor.
Thanks for the tip that's pretty cool idea, though you have to take anything off the floor before you do it though unfortuneately.
As for hiding the wires, I like to make pillars up off the ground and build above, that way I can crawl under the house to run wire. Sometimes, later on when I have more resources, I'll use half tiles to run the cables through the wall gaps between them, then just connect the device through the floor or wall.
