Standing torches are the easiest interior light source to use so of course you can place them inside. Like was mentioned just keep them away from the walls. What I do is I put a fire pit in the center of a 3x3 building with all the work benches around the edge and then place a standing torch on either side of the fire pit. It lights up the whole building great.
But i really would like to know what is "too close" to the wall.
Has anyone tested out or made a video to show it?
If i build a 1x1 area with no floor and a camp fire in the middle but put wood railings around it.. will it burn?
