How to COMPLETELY start over?

I've had numerous problems losing workshop items after missions, and have performed a variety of hacks to get them back, editing .json files and .ini files in order to restore things. I'm done with that. I want a fresh start.

My wife and I completely uninstalled the game, and then re-installed it only to find our existing characters still there. So we Deleted both of them and created new ones. But now our Ren and Exotics have remained. That's not a fresh start.

How do you completely wipe the slate clean and get new characters, no existing prospects, no Ren or Exotics, nothing to indicate we've ever been in the game before?

Pretty sure if you delete this folder it will clear everything including your old backups: C:\Users\[WIndowsUserName]\AppData\Local\Icarus

There's a Steam guide as well that points you what files to edit if just deleting that folder doesn't work. Search for Hard Reset or something for the name of guide.

Ah, I found it, and you're right, it's called a Hard Reset and all it takes is deleting the %LocalAppData% ... /Icarus/Saved folder and everything is rebuilt from zero. I also deleted all my server files on my rented server so I'm in a new place now with the great hopes for a new beginning. Thanks!
