Bugged? I can only mine stone.

I tried restarting, i tried making a new pickaxe, i double checked and made sure i wasnt full. I tried mining salt, silica, sulphur and oxite. None of them give me anything when i mine it, but i walk over 2 steps to some stone and i can mine that. Thank you for any help.

Are you on an Open World map that you've been playing for a while? Have you already mined those resources once already? There was a bug where the voxels would reappear but would not give any resources when struck. No idea if it was ever fixed or the cause was ever found. All you can really do is move out further for your resources and file a bug report.

The first standard recommendation: Verify the game in Steam.
1) Are you playing on your PC, joining a friend, dedicated servers? (external hosting?)?
What pickaxe did you use to get it? (Name)
What map or mission does this happen on?

2) Do you use or have you previously used mods?
The screenshot below shows the files and their sizes that you should have in the Paks directory (Icarus games), and nothing extra (update Week 108). There should also be no empty mods folders.

No mods, open world on dedicated server. Tried two different picks, multiple different nodes. Files are good. It's only an issue if I leave the server completely and re-enter. My fix was reboot server, send in character dedicated to only be in this server and don't leave it again.

what pick are you trying to use? different ores require higher level picks.
