1: unistall the game Icarus
2: go to C:\Users\[windows user name]\AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved
and make a copy of the "saved" folder (all about "you" is here)
then delete the "icarus" folder
3: go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Icarus
and delete "icarus" folder
4: reinstall the game Icarus
5: make a test without putting your personal save and see if all working good
6: if all working good, then insert your "saved" folder
2) I recommend always regularly saving your Icarus progress to a separate folder on another partition of the drive (or flash drive). (disable Steam clouds, otherwise, when you manually return your saves, there is a chance that Steam cloud will return the original saves.)
-------->! You need to save the entire directory c:\Users\”name your windows account”\AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved
looks like certain patches dont like odd combos of hardware.
1) Do you use or have you previously used mods?
The screenshot below shows the files and their sizes that you should have in the Paks directory (Icarus games), and nothing extra (update Week 108). There should also be no empty mods folders.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3125849687
Do you have exactly the same and with the same sizes?
PS I constantly write this message so that anyone who needs it can independently, if necessary, check whether they have the same files or others.
[MEMORY CHECK Testmem5 (1usmus v3 config)]
Stability needs to be checked by Testmem5 (1usmus v3 config) In your case, at least 1 full cycle (for me on 32GB it’s about half an hour). There shouldn't be any errors.
!---> reboot the PC, try not to launch any other programs;
Run Testmem5 as administrator (this is the only way, otherwise there will not be full coverage of Ram) and check it in the config (1usmus v3 config).
If even one error occurs, it means that such overclocking is unstable.
At the same time it is NECESSARY! monitor the temperature of components, especially the CPU, using any free program.
Testmem5 (1usmus v3 config) can be found through a Google search and is a well-known utility.
For example, the first link that came up (its functionality has just been checked)

Here is the link for information about error numbers, including new information

Obviously before I start posting I first do a bit of research and troubleshooting :). Was one the Win site and did the steps (before the first post ;)). Memory ok, Harddrives ok, enough space on hard drive). The bluescreen I het if I insist, the Unreal engine crash window is the first one, inside Icarus. Deleted and reinstalled Icarus 3 times (deleted also all remnant content in Icarus Folder). Deleted and reinstalled newest RTX3070 drivers. Deleted and installed manually older RTX3070 driver. Setting is Ryzen 9 5900X / Geforce RTX 3070 / Win10 64bit, not overclocked, optimized for stability, so more on the lower side. Would say if issues I would see those in Ghost of Tsushima first ;). I'm completely with you, that normally the problem sits before the screen... But that's why the problem ask, if somebody encountered the same issue and found a solution :). Developing is hard business, having to make stuff compatible to that many system and software settings, that's why I usually look for solutions, not trolling :).
