Discovered some thing about fire...

I built a campfire inside WOODEN house. And when went to upgrade walls to stone I accidently stepped into fire. AND set whole house on fire lmao This really sucks as lost every thing... But is kinda funny lol

Everyone has probably encountered this. I even made rollback saves several times. After that, I always turn on the campfire, fry what I need, and then turn it off.

Hah, i did that the first time by putting a torch too close to a wall. I didnt know it was a mechanic at the time. Went off to hunt for food and came back to an inferno lol

Look on the bright side, at least your buddy has never been goofing off with the Workshop explosive arrows and accidentally missed a shot and blew up your Red Exotics

Yep, done the same several times. Was wearing ghillie armor one time and that thing went up instantly, and I spread it around the room just trying to run out of a 2 x 2 wood hut. Whole thing burned down.

The punchline is I had _just_ started a scanner defense mission, so while I was trying to get out of hut, and put the fire out, there were 3 hostile bears attacking the scanner, and later on, attacking me. Fun time..... fun times.

Lol glad to see im not the only pyro here :-) It makes sense but didnt expect the mechanic to be in game. It was a 3x3 house and I set everything on fire trying to get out. Fire was so big probly see it from space station. Bet guys up there laughing as well lol

Havent gotten any but I bet that would of been.. annoying at least hehe. I play games with the kids and wife so that would be likely to happen to me lol

The fire mechanism is why I will ONLY build out of stone and above for any "permanent" dwelling. I used wood for disposable hobo pillow forts, in the first 20 minutes of a mission. Just so crafting benches have the sheltered icon that allows them to be used. I craft what I need and pick up/tear down everything and carry it away.

Was starting to upgrade to stone. But couldnt figure out what I needed. Realised I had to get to tier 2 before could use stone.. but thats when i decided to drunk walk into firepit lol
