Sentry Gun

I was just running around and farming materials lost in my own thoughts and had an idea. There currently really is no reason to make a pistol. It's just as slow as the bolt action to reload and does less damage. What if there was some simple sentry that could be crafted but it used the pistol ammo. That would give a real use for that ammo and also allow the sentry to not be completely OP. Small caliber ammo and a short-medium range would allow it to be used for actual base defense. Just a random thought.

The pistol does have a use. Technically. The ammo takes only 1 gun powder versus 2 for the rifle. So if you're achievement hunting that 10k kills it takes less resources to reach. A good sneak attack headshot with a pistol makes the critters just as dead as a rifle shot.
