2 Landing zone – in missions these places are predetermined; when you start Openworld you also choose your initial landing spots (you can't change it later). You land not exactly right at this point, but approximately at this place, but this place does not change significantly.
That was what i feared.
I guess we will have to start over on Prometheous and make sure to make the landing zone the perfect spot rofl. :P
- With the patch coming up soon there isn't coming a new map that we have to move to right? Just before we start up with Prometheous. :P
With a built in telemetry beacon, which adds a custom landing point to open world mission "starts".
I don't see any problems with distances, on my Olympus the main base is F3, but there is also a second large base in the M4 cave. From the M4 cave base, I extract all the resources of the northeastern desert part of the map.

PS Therefore, I don’t see much point in changing the landing point, because if you play (it’s difficult to translate) ‘with high stakes’, then one base will clearly not be enough. I only have 3 ‘intermediate’ auxiliary mini-houses.
All fair mate. We do all play differently, I don't mind having to run far etc.
However when you land on the landing zone you have nothing but your workshop gear, so no beer/wine/pickled which means the stamina bar is so short. So it takes forever to get from A to B.
Which is why i asked the question. :)
I have always been the "one base to rule them all" kind of guy.
Thanks for all the feedback off you all! :)
