Glass Roof breaks in storms?

Hey all
I have been using google to find any updates on this, but they are years old. So apparently Glass Roof breaks in storms, are there any enforced glass or something? It's really sad that you can't make greenhouses or use glass roofing for your warehouse etc.
I read about the using overhangs etc. but that kinda defeats the purpose. :(

"Reinforced" glass can be made if you create a water connection to the bench...

Yes regular glass breaks. Hook up the glass bench to the water pump when you craft glass roofing it will have a yellow outline showing that it is reinforced glass.

Oh does it also have halfpitches? And can I get water connection at tier 3?

I think the water pump is on tier4. Not sure about the half-pitches but you can craft all of the pieces that you have unlocked.

I just went into the game specifically and checked: hardened glass (strength like stone), there are horizontal half-elements.

Just be aware that reinforced glass can still take storm damage from the highest tiers of storms.

Reinforced glass is equivalent to stone in terms of storm protection. So tier 4,5 & 6 can damage it depending on what event is happening during the storm. Some of the events won't do anything to it, others will damage it.

Guess I will have to get to tier 4. I guess I will make my greenhouse and rooftop on the warehouse of stone for now. :)
