Fishing not working for me

When I use the fishing rod and the icon turn yellow, I click the left mouse button and the icon goes immediately to transparent again. I get no mini game. I've tried different lures and no lure at all, but always the same result. Am I missing something? I'm testing in the outpost

This may not be your issue, but I was making the mistake of doing right click on the yellow phase and instantly dumping the catch when I needed to tap left click to initiate. No right click involved for catching, just releasing.

I having the same issue. When the hook icon goes yellow and I left click nothing happens. The yellow then goes away and the left click reals in the line. Can someone answer this one please.

Fish was not implemented in outposts yet, only in Openworld (and missions)
