didn't know that sorry.
This primarily came down to my old squad didnt know about the data migration (despite me trying to get their attention to it multiple times) and they lost all their advanced characters and now have to start from scratch.
Previously I had been carrying a MXC Furnace with me but I left it in the station for this run, not knowing we'd have trouble. The MXC Furnace covers multiple tiers of metal without us needing to have points in anything and we'd gotten too reliant on it.
The team was still annoyed to find out the Rustic Cabin can be 99% completed with T1 and T2 items but oops, the statues need gold... for some reason...
Yeah, I don't know why they did this. You aren't the first person to run into it.
Be glad you didn't take Forsaken: recovery. It's a level 30+ (read: end game) mission. Completely out of place here.
They REALLY NEED a "min level to complete" based on tech *required* for mission objectives, but they don't have it, and it's jacking up new players with this.
I wish they would remove this requirement for this mission; then it would be a perfectly acceptable and level-appropriate mission for where it is (which would still leave Forsaken: recovery as odd man out, but that's just ONE mission.... right now there are 2...)
For extra fun, team leader decided to set the game to Hardcore, so we have people who are used to Normal wandering off on their own and dying on the edge of the map, being confused why they cant self revive.
you don't have to stay in the mission you can load your character in a open world and level there and come back and continue your mission with higher level no?
Persistant worlds werent a thing last time we tried and I have no idea how this is going to work since the Data isnt centralized any more. I noticed on the join screen,t he mission is still projecting the levels we launched into the mission as (10-11) and doesnt update between days.
Team leader also decided to run us on Hardcore on the grounds we'd earn exp faster than on an outpost. They also have no experience in Styx and it was actually hard to tell where to start in general.
I can only half remember the Capsuleer I was acting out as in the previous years, I might have to start a new one. XD
