quest: DRY RUN EXPEDITION drill dissapeared and is NOT in the water

After drilling first wall mz drill fell down the texture. I cannot find it. It´s not in the water under the wall where it should be. I was looking everywhere in the cave for like one our. Is there any possbility how to respawn quest items? Any ideas how to solve this issue??

exiting and restarting the game sometimes forces things to the surface.

Many quests were changed so you can get a new copy of quest items from the same place you got the original, if the original is lost. Not sure if that was one, but you can check.
