Win 11 support - from the FAQ

Also saw some gameplay, a wolf needed 4 arrows to the head to take down. Was it a wolf with titanium undercoat? It looked like a wolf, not some armored mech from HZD. I can understand the fantasy setting, it's just a game, but 4 arrows to the head to kill a wolf?

Edit: it seems it was probably a starting bow + arrow and the shot not made from stealth :)
Also win 11 is definitely supported ( see below answer ).

It does seem ridiculous that they say they do not support Windows 11 but they actually do say it.

Someone was a lousy shot. Or using a weak/primitive bow and arrows. Or on hard/hardcore settings.

Usually wolves die with one shot to the head.

The game works in Windows 11.

And wolves die with one heashot in stealth mode with any vow and any arrow. If they are aggroed perhaps you need a couple with the basic arrow, one with a good bow. In the gameplay likely those were not headshots.

For an experienced platers wolves (and bears) are not a threat, but a source of food and XP.

probably a primitive bow with stone arrows, although if you buy any bow perks you can still 1 shot with that. It could also be like a level 90+ and they werent stealthed

Good point! We've removed that from the FAQ. Icarus runs fine on Windows 11.

Those FAQ were written for the launch of Icarus back in Dec 2021. At the time Windows 11 had only been out for 2 months and some people had questions about how good it was for gaming or not. It's better now.
