Opening Inventory Permanently affects FPS

I am running the game all on lowest settings the game runs ok but over about an hour the fps gradually go from 50fps down to below 10fps his happens more so in multiplayer. the biggest issue being the game will run ok as long as i do not open inventory because as soon as i pres i to open inventory the FPS drop permanently to below 7FPS. ???

Very sorry - shouldn't have performance that bad. We have a beta branch called "experimental" that we are trialing some extensive performance and hitching fixes for. Would you be able to try this out and let me know if it improves things for you? Additionally, could you list your system specifications?

sorry, I couldn't hold myself :) Shhhhh, don't laugh , the guy is having a serious problem. Anyways, no matter what pc he has , dropping from 50ish to 7 fps after opening inventory seems odd, unless he runs out of ram as soon as inventory is opened with a hundred items in it.

Thank you for responding Rocket i followed your advise and installed the experimental patch unfortunately it has not fixed the issue i have no issues running modern new release games on high to very high settings... i upgraded my ram from 16GB to 32GB hoping this would fix the issue as well. As for the to meany items in inventor its a new character has no inventory. please see below system specs

I had this problem years ago when I first started playing the game. It had to do with the game losing focus in Windows but still behaving like it had focus in terms of interactability. I could fix it by alt-tabbing out and back in, and when that didn't work, I could switch to windowed and back to fullscreen and then it would be fine.

If you havent tried it yet, try alt-tab or alt-enter when it happens to see if it works. If it doesn't, that all I've got.
