how do you find the strange plants and red exotics

is there radar like the the one used for exotics deposits? or do you have to run around and look for them randomly? i know there the new extractor you have to use. im just unsure how you find them and is there a special tech used to find them

In open world exotics, normal or red, rock or plant, can't be harvested yet. They will come with the next big patch in 1-2 months.
